Physical appearance notes: extremely pale, sunburns easily, and her eyes are a very pale blue. Her body build is much like Kairi’s, except smaller in every possible way. She’s tiny, and short, and generally just tiny.

Notes:

Actually super protective of Riku

Incredibly strong willed

Can be incredibly focused

Scares easily, though

Usually very kind and gentle but she’s not someone you want to see angry

            (Sorta like Mickey and Minnie)

Potential anxiety issues, let’s be honest here

Extremely sensitive to memories

Due to being rewritten she has a lot of Larxene tendencies

            She’s usually incredibly gentle but can snap on occasion and it’s completely random

            Can be incredibly cruel—again, randomly

            There’s other specific tendencies I’m sure but those are like the most obvious ones

Will play with things when nervous like the edge of her skirt/shirt/hair/sketchbook/pencils

Being Rewritten

Living around a war--the rebellion--and being sheltered from it

Spending three months on Destiny Islands, where it was just her and Kairi with no boys

Fighting style

Magic only--though she literally only just learned it and isn't very good at it

Refuses to use a blade of any sort she can’t hold one after the deal with being Rewritten it causes too many bad memories to resurface

She's actually really queasy about weapons for a while it takes quite some time before anyone can convince her into getting one

Battle log entry:

Namine doesn’t like conflict, and battle is no exception. In fact, she’d prefer to avoid battles at all costs. Being Rewritten has left her a little jittery when it comes to fighting. Even though she’s fixed, there’s a certain… something about the flow of battle that makes her blood pulse in ways she’d rather not think about.
Should she have to fight, she’ll stay on the sidelines and cast magic in from afar, along with provide support for the group. Close-range physical attacks will throw her off balance, on the off chance you need to take her down.

Namine thinks Riku is very sweet and she does love him a lot she knows him inside out—admittedly against her will—and when you know someone that well it’s hard not to love them

She loves him regardless he’s nice and sweet and it’s touching to see him be so head-over-heels for her it really is

She thinks he’s strong and brave—especially for making it as far as he has—and she finds the fact that he’s too “tough” to admit he’s a Big Softy is adorable

SHE LOVES HIM BECAUSE HE’S HIM. HE’S STRONG AND HE KEEPS GOING NO MATTER WHAT THE WORLD THROWS AT HIM HE GETS BACK UP AND KEEPS FIGHTING. SHE ADMIRES HIM FOR IT SHE LOVES HIM FOR IT AND EVEN THOUGH HE’S EXPERIENCED ALL THIS CRUELTY HE STILL FINDS IT IN HIMSELF TO BE KIND

YES HE HAS HIS MOMENTS OF CRUELTY BUT IF HE DIDN’T THEN HE WOULDN’T BE HIM

She and Kairi get along actually really well and know each other super well they lived together and also spent three months together without the boys so they grew to know each other over that time

Namine thinks Kairi is quite loud and very demanding in presence not to mention Kairi’s very physical with everything and likes talking and tickle fights but Kairi does respect that Namine’s only so-so on the tickle fights and only tickles Namine when she’s real ornery

I bet they spent a lot of time laying in the sand together and swimming together and like they don’t talk much—or Kairi does all the talking—but they just like being around each other

They’re really good friends I’ll be honest

Sora

They're good friends, but not incredibly close. 

Joseph

Joseph is sweet and kind and Namine tries her best to encourage him

Joseph tends to tease her a lot, too—I imagine Joseph and Kairi team up to tease a lot of people but especially Namiku omg—so there’s that

And she tries to play games and stuff with Joseph but she only has so much energy

But she’s a-okay with hanging out with him when he’s reading or he’ll draw with her or play a video game and she’ll just sit over and watch and stuff hhh

OH GOSH AND DID I MEANTION THAT JOSPEH MAYBE GETS INTO ART like he does graphic design as opposed to like traditional art and stuff but they bond a lot and he’ll sit down and draw with Namine and she’ll just encourage him

It’s a lota fun

(though I imagine Joseph does learn how to do basic art stuff for like people but he’s much more interested in patterns and colors)

Roxas

So far they haven’t interacted much but she does feel like he’s too laid back and mocks everything and it unsettles her

Vexen

I wonder if Namine has a little ill feelings towards Vexen because she’s been in Riku’s memories and so his feelings towards Vexen have kinda rubbed off on her??

Like I imagine she’s really short with him once and he looks offended and she has to explain

And it takes her a while to articulate it into words but she finally gets it out

“I mean I don’t personally dislike you or anything but I have seen nearly every memory in Riku’s head and I understand why he hates you and his hate is tainting my perception of you if that makes sense??”

And Vexen is hurt but largely to hear. Riku hates him. omg. I’m sorry.

But in reality she doesn't hate Vexen but she doesn't love him either. He's there and she understands he's trying his best BUT her perception of him is slightly tainted by Riku's perception of him, so she isn't as warm with him as she could be.

Aerith + the HB Gang

She and Aerith get along pretty well because they are similar in personality + spend a lot of time looking out for Riku and that’s a common interest

And Aerith is invested in giving Namine a home just as much as she is to giving Riku a home

+ Aerith is like Riku’s second favorite person and the whole HB gang is his family so Namine tries to be nice to them and look up to them like he does because hey

It’s his home

She needs to respect that

Ven

Idk Ven’s really quiet but she enjoys being quiet like Riku does and Ven likes being quiet too and she probably draws with him a lot

Like he’ll just sit down next to her and she’ll pass him a piece of paper and they’ll share pencils

They don’t talk much but even then they end up saying the most deepest things when they do talk—it’s not small talk it’s legit talking about things even though they don’t say much

Aqua

Aqua thinks Namine’s sweet but isn’t sure what she sees in Riku

Upon being asked by Aqua what she sees in Riku, Namine just replies “everything” and Aqua either blinks, not understanding, or raises her eyebrows and prepares to tell Namine she’s likely just lovestruck but then Namine elaborates:

“I see everything. I see the good and the bad. The pretty and ugly. All the in betweens. When you know someone so well it’s hard not to love them, in one way or another, and I know how much he loves me—is it all pure? No. but he’s willing to work at it and that’s all that matters”

Also they perhaps bond over magic. Maybe. Maybe.
