Largely just copies your attacks and throws them back at you. I don’t remember, but I’m 90% positive his illusionary magic is only that: illusions—he can’t make something physical with his powers so it’s not a lot of use in battle, except to trick people

History:

- was the first Zexion Replica!

- was friends with Delta before the Rebellion

- realized real early on that Even had only made the Zexion Replicas to replace Ienzo, and wanted nothing to do with Even afterwards (this is why he never learned the passwords for the Emergency Protocols)

- ENDED UP HAVING TO,,, well ok he didn’t even have to but he decided he was going deactivate all the Replicas to keep them from Saix. Seeing as he couldn’t use the Emergency Protocol for it, he had to do it manually for each Replica, and it was a real toll on him?? He only got through the Zexion Replicas (and, would have deactivated himself if Amaryllis hadn’t stopped him)

- lead the Rebellion in Dead Inside!!! He kind of, unhealthily poured himself into it….

- (He also manipulated Riku into helping with it, told Riku that he owed it to them, etc)

- HE’S,,, there’s a lot of things in Dead Inside but in general it’s usually: Alpha has an opinion that may be right but that everyone hates, no he won’t be budged on it

- what’s he doing in ATR?? Hanging around Castle Oblivion still. What else is he supposed to do, really

Personality notes:

- PROBABLY KINDER THAN MOST LARXENES, but, I mean, she still went out of her way to make viruses to inflict other Replicas with for no other reason than she could, so…..

- incredibly smart and insufferably braggy about it

- likes making jokes, thinks too highly of her jokes (and, herself)

- would definitely inflict someone with a virus just because they pissed her off (I MEAN, SHE HAS)

- either you think she’s insufferable because she’s a Larxene and Larxene’s are just kind of rude, or you think she’s insufferable because she won’t babbling about tech-related things and either talks down at you or, if you know nothing about it, it’s just annoying

- specifically created around 15 viruses tailored to work on Replicas and give them things like: symptoms of the common cold, the inability to think straight, MAKE THEM CONSTANTLY SING????

- caught every virus she ever wrote, so, haha, that was fun

Notable Abilities:

Super smart, can work a computer!! Wasn’t taught by Even the ins and outs of the Replica Program, but figured it out herself. Either hacked the computer or wormed the passwords out of 7 at some point. ((Just because she can work the full Program does not mean she uses it for good!))

Fighting Style / Battle Stats:

General Larxene things. Knives, lightning, quick punches. Didn’t get into fights often, but, that’s largely because fights didn’t really happen before the Rebellion and she wasn’t a part of the Rebellion so she wouldn’t have fought for them

History:

- spending the week after her creation in 7’s office

- getting to know 7, becoming friends with him (he, probably taught her some of how the Replica Program worked, either knowingly or just because she picked up fast from watching over his shoulder)

- working on her viruses, avoiding death by Xemnas’s hand, catching all of her viruses, etc

- being good friends with 7 in general

- helped 7 smuggle Xion out of danger, much to her dismay

- refused to take sides in the Rebellion

- kind of just chilling before the Rebellion happened

- kept coming up with her own plans to take down the Rebellion (or, namely, Riku) and used 37 and his influence to carry them out ((NOT HTAT, UM, 37 MINDED)) ((AND, HE WAS EXTREMELY INTO IT. I MEAN. IN ON IT. I MEAN. BOTH, PROBABLY))

- neither she nor 37 were real happy that their plans weren’t working out

- eventually Xemnas got fed up with the both of them and forbade them from, um, helping anymore, but that happens waaaay later in Dead Inside

Name: Marluxa Replica Amaryllis. The Marluxia’s all have flower names, so

- kind of, stern, leader type?

- I don’t know I figured he was an important Replica so I’d do a profile for him.

- fairly chill, a pretty nice guy. Probably isn’t overly friendly, but he’s civil and professional, and he’s definitely not mean

- will do whatever he needs to to keep his friends and fellow troops of the Rebellion alive, even if it means pulling them out of danger when they don’t want to be (eyes Snapdragon)

Other notes:

- leader of the Rebellion, or co-leader, besides Alpha

- while he most likely knows his way around a computer, he definitely does not know how to run the full Program! Even trusted only a handful of Replicas with that knowledge, and most of them were Vexens and Zexions

- is constantly looking out for Alpha / keeping Alpha going, tbh

- while he definitely recognizes Riku’s abilities and usefulness, I’m not making any calls on how much he actually likes Riku

History:

- like a lot of other Replicas, got mad when Saix took control and moved to Castle Oblivion. Was not exactly among the first to do so (I imagine him sticking around up until Saix started becoming unreasonable and unfair, which didn’t take long, but it definitely was not OH I’M NOT EVEN GOING TO STICK AROUDN TO SEE WHAT KIND OF MESS SAIX CAUSES, I’M OUT)

- took charge of the Rebellion, largely because he was the most qualified to / the only one with enough guts to make it a war (OK, ALPHA WANTED TO TOO, BUT TRUST ME NONE OF THE VEXEN’S DID)

- Kept Alpha from Deactivating himself, reminding Alpha that he would want to see the Rebellion through!

- was around in Dead Inside, leading the Rebellion

- what’s he doing now that ATR’s begun? Probably still chilling around Castle Oblivion. Most of the Replicas are. No one’s discussed what else they should do, or if it’s safe for them to like, live throughout the worlds? So, uh,

- doesn’t really care much about, um, other people’s feelings? Unless it directly affects him

- extremely loyal to the Organization, and to Saix

Lots of ice attacks, of course! Likes throwing icicles at things.

History:

- learning the Replica Program, Even trusted him with that ((though not the Emergency Protocols))

- helping Even create Replicas various times

- becoming sort of in charge of the Program (below Saix) after Even died ((Saix didn’t want to deal with the finer details of running the Program so he roped 37 into it))

- SOMEHOW STARTED DATING L???

- DATING L IN GENERAL???

- he was the major antagonist to the Rebellion, since he constantly got sent to do Saix’s dirty work!! He was,,,,, not good at actually doing his job though, the Rebellion outsmarted him (and L) at every turn

- kind of slowly got so horrible at his job that Xemnas sent someone else to do it, and from there 37 stopped getting sent to do anything, but that wasn’t until waaaay later in Dead Inside

- fairly chill. I think all the Vexens are chill because Even (that is, ftp’s Vexen) is also extremely chill, so

- worries more than he should, maybe?

- he’s a Medic, so, a lot of stern “please you’ll hurt yourself” kind of vibes

- mostly a pleasant, calming personality!! While some of this is because Even’s chill, the rest of this is actually because since he’s a medic, and you kind of have to have an approachable personality if you don’t want to stress out your patients even more than they likely already are

- fatherly type, but let’s be honest, that’s every Vexen (or, every, non-evil Vexen????)

- HE ALSO GETS UNBEARABLY SMUG, LIKE, EVERY OTHER VEXEN

- well, a Medic, like I said!

- HE AND R WERE REALLY GOOD FRIENDS!!!! I love them so much

- ended up being more important / around more than I expected, lmao

He’s actually, a really good medic. Like, REALLY good. This largely comes from having to decode R’s viruses and well, you learn a lot from that.

Can run the full Program, which is kind of a necessity because there are some things the Repair Program won’t fix. He can also create Replicas, but, anyone who can run the full Program can.

Ice powers. Again: I play ‘em up a lot in FtPverse, so he can like, summon ice to him literally whenever. It’s definitely happened with him (more than once?) where the air got colder around him when he got upset, but, this is a Vexen thing in general and not specific to him

Fighting Style / Battle Stats:

A REGULAR OLD VEXEN! Extreme use of ice powers. Has definitely frozen the floor solid to make enemies slip on the ice, frozen someone solid to keep them from moving, thrown icicles at someone, probably.

History:

- general medic related duties for the entirety of his life

- R and Q ended up getting held up in his office for a week or so after their creation (there was a slip in Q’s data he had to watch, and R ended up in there Just In Case) (They are probably not the only Replicas this has happened to)—this is where he and R initially bonded

- a general friendship / rivalry with R. they got along well but her writing viruses all the time and him having to figure out how to stop them before Xemnas destroyed the entire Program was Not Fun

- HE AND R SPENT A LOT OF TIME TOGETHER ALSO BECAUSE R CAUGHT EVERY VIRUS SHE WROTE SO WAS AMONG THE FIRST IN HIS OFFICE TO BE CURED EVERY TIME.

- also she showed up to brag a lot

- HE HELPED BUILD XION!!! He also immediately smuggled her into safety when 37 threatened deactivating her for being a failure.

- tried to cure Xion but, uh, it didn’t work out

- helped out in Dead Inside!! He didn’t have a major role in the Rebellion (like, he wasn’t leading it or anything) but boy was he around a lot. I think that’s because he was the only (or one of two) medics that the Rebellion had, so

- the chilliest, most laid back Vexen you will ever meet. He uses words like “goopy” and willingly sits on the ground to hang with Joseph, etc

- he’s stern sometimes, but it’s usually in that parent “NO YOU CAN’T DO THAT YOU’LL GET HURT” way, and in no other way

Ice powers, of course, since he’s a Vexen! I constantly play them up, so he can summon ice to him basically whenever to do basically whatever (…..you could imagine doing with ice)

Fighting Style / Battle Stats:

Average Vexen fighting skills. Ice abilities. Shield. Spends most of his time keeping Joseph out of danger. Would throw himself between any child and harm tbh.

History:

- HE’S KIND OF, BEEN LOOKING AFTER JOSEPH SINCE HE WAS CREATED

- I mean, 29’s been looking after Joseph since 29 was created, not Joseph, in case pronouns were confusing. 29 was around maybe a week before Joseph was created, and seeing as 29 was new and didn’t have any other duties, well

- So, all 29’s ever done is: keep Joseph out of trouble, put up with Joseph’s pranks, look after Raymond and Patrick (Joseph’s friends) on occasion, Joseph related things in general.

- 29 plays a role in Dead Inside, but it’s largely just “keep Joseph out of actual legitimate danger trouble” so, well!

- as of ATR, 29 (as well as Joseph, of course) has moved to Hollow Bastion! What’s he doing while he’s there? Uh, who knows???

Character tag

Name: Even (formerly: Vexen). To his Replicas, he’s Master Vexen/Even

Age: like, 40

Height: in the 6 foot zone

Appearance notes:

Doesn’t wear an Org cloak, wears some other kind of clothes. May keep his hair tied back in a ponytail? Maybe not though. He just has so much hair. Has glasses, like every other Vexen. I have a hard time seeing any of the Vexen’s wearing glasses that aren’t, like, rectangle glasses, but maybe Even has oval ones? I also feel half frame glasses, giving him a sort of Dumbledore look tbh

Personality notes:

- A REALLY NICE GUY, ACTUALLY

- Cares legitimately so much about his Replicas. Would put his life on the line to keep them safe. Doesn’t want any harm to come to them, doesn’t want them to be used for anyone’s personal gain. Maybe he didn’t create them for the best reasons, but the least he can do is make sure they get a chance to be their own people with their own desires

- Constantly fascinated by science-y things, I mean, he is,,, Even

- Pretty chill to be around, has a fairly good relationship with all of his Replicas

- Constantly asks questions about things, but unlike Vexen, has a sense of tact and when he should,,, stop prying,,,

- HELLA PROUD, like, unbearably so. Of course he is. Hey you know the replica program?? Pretty impressive huh. Built it myself. Isn’t it great. It’s real great, ain’t it

((to be fair, his pride also extends to the replicas, and he’s proud of them?? Proud that he created them, proud of what they’ve become as well, so sometimes his pride is a good thing—at least, when he’s directing it at people who aren’t himself anyway))

Other notes:

- Built a prototype Replica Program before Radiant Garden fell, which is why it’s so successful once Organization 13 starts

- Will go well out of his way to keep the Replica Program out of Xehanort’s hands. It’s uncertain if he knows what Xehanort would do with it, or if he just, thinks it’s a bad idea overall

- Hates Xehanort for a lot of reasons, but, who doesn’t

- Was really close to Ienzo before Xehanort showed up, and then Ienzo stopped, um, caring about him as much. Alpha’s accusation of Even creating Zexion Replicas to replace Ienzo wasn’t, entirely, incorrect

- Really really really feels like he let his Replicas down. He’s pretty good at accepting losses and moving on but this one really aches at him

Notable Abilities:

Ice powers!! I play up the Org members’ control over their elements a lot. Summoning ice at will for various things—a lot of ways are useful in battle, but he can also just, freeze the ground around your feet to make you stay in one spot if he wanted. (So could, um, all the other Vexens)

Built the Replica Program in FtPverse. This is more of an accomplishment than ability but boy is it impressive

Fighting Style / Battle Stats:

Lots of protecting with that shield, shield bashes a lot, uses ice primarily when it comes to being offensive though. All the Vexens fight the same, so, using ice powers to his advantage (freezing enemies solid), and using a solid icicle as a weapon often. Making icicles burst up under your feet to pierce you.

History:

- was an apprentice to Ansem the Wise! Helped raise Ienzo

- may or may not have participated in questionable experiments to learn more about the nature of the heart, but I’m not even sure Xehanort started those in this universe, seeing as he had his memories intact? And, besides, Even was devoting a lot of time to the Replica Program

- DEVOTED A LOT OF TIME TO BUILDING A REPLICA PROGRAM

- was mad when RG fell because he lost all of his progress. But, I mean, who wouldn’t have been. This is one of his major beefs w/ Xehanort, though general distrust of him (FOR GOOD REASON) is the rest of it

- it’s possible that he knew all the things Nort got up to before RG fell??? Ansem turned a blind eye, but Even’s not blind. He probably saw it.

- made a very extensive Replica Program, spent a lot of time keeping it running and also making sure Xehanort, er, Xemnas didn’t use it for his own means. ((It’s not like he was going to let something as trivial as losing his heart stop him from continuing his life’s work))

- was inevitably killed by Riku in the Truth Hurts

- finally came back in ATR. He’s around and helping out wherever he can. He doesn’t intend on building more Replicas or doing much in the ways of keeping them under control now that the Org is gone, but he’ll help rebuild where it’s needed

Name: Vexen (he’s kind of just resigned himself to not being known as anything else)

Age: somewhere in his 40s

Appearance notes:

There comes a point where I don’t see the point in recounting exactly what they look like in canon, epseically when I don’t have any specific thoughts re: their appearance that differs from canon

I guess Vexen has glasses though and that’s noncanon and also important. He doesn’t wear them all the time but he needs them to read better. They’re rectangle, and according to magik, almost seem too small for his face

Personality notes:

- A huuuuuuuuuge coward

- Still kind of coping when it comes to having feelings again after so long, though I think by ATR he’s doing a lot better

- Fatherly Instincts™???? It comes from having such a heavy role in raising Ienzo

- Extremely analytical, a little bit nosy, almost always is in other people’s business. (OR MAYBE HE’S ONLY ALWAYS IN RIKU’S BUSINESS??? I’d believe either)

- When he’s nervous or flustered he just starts blurting things

- In FtPverse Vexen is just,, kind of constantly flustered or awkward or timid, but I’d blame the situations for that more than anything else

- Can get unbearably proud and braggy of his accomplishments if you let him. The worst to deal with when smug.

Other notes:

- TECHNICALLY HE’S NOT EVEN MY CHARACTER I JUST STOLE HIM

- Comes from my sister magik's universe (All the Pieces) which is FtPverse's "KH canon" equivalent.

- Vexen's currently bunking in the FtPverse for an indefinite amount of time. Maybe forever?? Me and magik haven’t discussed this (largely because I’m not even sure if it’d come up before ATR ends)

- You don't have to read AtP to understand who Vexen is because it's just, KH canon up to AtP which was a "KH3 equivalent" fic that he was really only around for half of. (The most important things for him are listed down below in his history section!) It's just important to know that he's my sister's Vexen, technically, even if I stole him and he's also mine now.

- His arrival and probably his reasons for sticking around are documented in Can't Escape, before Can't Escape delves into other things lol.

Notable Abilities:

Ice powers!!! I play up the Org’s control over elements a lot in FtPverse (and, well, in general). He can kind of just conjure ice whenever, and it's been shown that if he's upset about something he may, accidentally, start freezing the ground around him / whatever's in his hand.

I’m not sure if it counts as an ability, but, more of an achievement? Created the Replica Program and that as a whole sure is something, ain’t it

Fighting Style / Battle Stats:

A REAL COWARD, alright at fighting but, hmm. Lots of using his ice powers to his advantage, usually defends with his shield (I mean, seeing as, coward). His preferred mode of attack seems to be throwing icicles at things, though if he’s against like, a group of heartless ((WHICH IS SURPRISINGLY RARE)) he can do more fancy attacks seeing as he’s rarely cowardly around heartless, it’s fighting people that’s the problem.

History:

- was one of Ansem the Wise’s apprentice!!! Helped raise Ienzo. Did a lot of questionable experimentation on people / hearts to learn more about heartless and junk ((ALL OF,,, THE APPRENTICES DID THOUGH, TO BE FAIR))

- got turned into a heartless/nobody by Xehanort’s hand, probably forcibly

- spend ten years as a Nobody and in Org 13

- CHAIN OF MEMORIES HAPPENED!!!!!! Most importantly: he was actually kind of,,,, awful to Riku,,,, he regrets it but that doesn’t change the fact he definitely said and did a lot of terrible things

- the biggest thing All the Pieces (my sister's fic) had for him was “Xehanort forced him to create Xehanort Replicas” and boy did he NOT LIKE that

- one of his Vexen Replicas (Pi) visited FtPverse and was like OH RIKU’S HERE and he told Vexen and Vexen was like WELL I WANNA BE NOSY AND IN IN RIKU’S BUSINESS (AND ALSO GET AWAY FROM XEHANORT) so he,,, also hopped over to FtPverse

- he hasn’t left since??

- he’s done some helping with the Rebellion but as far as Riku’s concerned he’s just been a pain in the ass

- he keeps being nosy in Riku’s business

- as of ATR all he’s been up to for literally the past 60 chapters is working on translating Riku’s code so that it matches the language of the Replica Program in this universe. It’s, um, going

Terra is clairvoyant! He gets Feelings about the future, but his feelings are limited to a “one time per person/place/thing” deal, and he only gets them for things that are gonna be Important. In the game this shows itself as images ((upon visiting the badlands Terra foresees the final battle of BBS, also when he meets Riku he sees Nort / older Riku / young Riku again)) but I think for him it come as more of Feelings. Either way, he doesn’t have much control of this ability because he gets these feelings too rarely to perfect the method of understanding them or anything.

History:

- Aqua was Eraqus’s first apprentice, but Eraqus took Terra in later and raised as well as trained him

- living in Land of Departure, in general! Keyblade training, happy life with his adopted family, didn’t get to see the outside world much, [pushes worry for me across the table at you again]

Worry for me is not ftpverse canon seeing as it’s a) not mine b) Vanitas is there, buuuut that’s the general Concept when it comes to life in the Land of Departure before Xehanort ruins everything

- constantly constantly feeling like he’s letting Eraqus down because he can’t seem to banish the darkness inside of him??? Always feeling like he isn’t trying hard enough

- failing the Mark of Mastery exam because Eraqus said his darkness was still A Problem

- Xehanort ruins everything

- traveling the worlds, feeding his darkness more than learning to control it (THANKS XEHANORT),  in general not having a great time because Xehanort’s just leading him along on a string

Tall, lanky, long hair pulled up in a ponytail. Eyepatch. That scar across his cheek. Always has a knowing glint in his gold eyes.

Personality notes:

- An asshole

- Laid-back, casual, a little bit lazy. Appears disinterested when it comes to a lot of things, but knows more than he lets on, hears more than he lets on

- Probably the most awkward Org member to hang around. He seems like a friendly guy, but there’s an edge to that friendliness, and chilling with the Org’s #2 is like chilling with your director’s assistant. Not as awkward as hanging out with your boss, but still pretty uncomfortable. Also he doesn’t seem to have a concept of personal space.

- Always smiling like he’s just thought of a good joke

- Is well aware that he’s gotten the short end of the stick in Xehanort’s plans, but is glad to be involved at all, because being here is better than being dead

- Constantly eavesdrops on your shit

- Probably knows five embarrassing facts about you

Fighting Style / Battle Stats:

Since his weapon of choice is a pair of guns, obviously he’s better at ranged attacks than anything up close. Using his spatial powers to his advantage, he can constantly stay out of your way, though. Likes the strategy of “continuously shoots bullets at someone so they can’t focus on the rest of the battle”. It’s even worse when he has his clone to help him, because then you got double the bullets, and very few moments when they’re both reloading. What’s worse than one Xigbar? Two.

History:

- was a guard at Ansem’s Castle in Radiant Garden

- ended up making a deal with Xehanort

- got himself norted

- helped Xehanort out with all of his dastardly plans

- became second in command of Org 13

- (ftp’s) Vexen made him a replica, and BOY was Xigbar fond of him??? Also he called his replica his clone, for some reason. it's a thing.

ALSO I’M BORROWING FROM MAGIK’S CANON AND SHE JUST, LITERALLY, CONSTANTLY HAS WINGS. It’s a sorceress thing. They’re big and white and kind of “traditional” “angel” wings. She can hide them if she needs to, but they’ll always come out when she’s casting magic, no exceptions!

Knows a lot of spells besides like, fighting related ones? Teleportation and communication spells being the ones that come up a lot, but, other spells as well.

- Staying with Aerith and Squall in RG for at least a couple months while she learned how to cope after being possessed as well as learning to not hate herself for being a sorceress

- Spending years learning how to manage Really Deep Wells of power, even though she constantly kept shunting her sorceress training to do other things ((in her defense she would’ve been a really bad friend if she hadn’t been there for Aerith and Leon when their mom + Zack died???))

- she dropped by Traverse Town at least a couple times

- there was definitely a point where she went “LOL WHO NEEDS TRAINING, I KNOW ENOUGH EDEA” and just kind of traveled the worlds for a while. In this time she helped Tifa track down Cloud, and potentially helped defeat Sephiroth? She DEFINITELY helped fight him at least once or twice, that’s for sure

- after a while (like, five years) Edea finally went RINOA IF YOU DON’T’ GET SERIOUS ABOUT TRAINING THEN SO HELP ME!!!! And Rinoa swore to keep contact w/ her friends to a minimum so she could actually focus. She hasn’t been in contact w/ Aerith and Leon for about two years now
