Name: Riku

Age: 16

Height: somewhere around 6 feet. I keep making him shorter

BD: July 9th is the day he celebrates. Who knows when his actual birthday is.

Appearance notes:

Wears vest or tee + jeans combo Constantly. His hair’s short, and he likes it that way because it doesn’t tickle his neck too much and his head’s much lighter. His skin’s paler than it probably should be (at least according to his character icons anyway, WHICH ARE LIKE, SUPER HARD TO CHANGE,,,,), blame the lack of sun for like six straight months and Vexen whitewashing him. Has some decent muscles, pretty lanky. Slouches constantly because he feels like he’s towering over all his loved ones and he hates it.

There’s also a patch of purple on his gut where his dark suit tried to prevent him from bleeding out, and over time he’s developed similar purple patches over the rest of his skin, namely his arms.  (Gets cut in a fight > dark suit tries to fix him > purple spots.) Those will go away if he ever gets his darkness fixed.

Personality notes:

- He’s so nice to his friends and family though…. he cares about them so much

- Introverted as hell, or, perhaps it’s just he’s not necessarily good at interacting with people. Given the way he was raised, it’s, not really a surprise.

- The most loyal person you will ever meet

- Kind of selfish, but also struggles to know when it’s ok to like?? take up space. Thanks abuse (/sarcasm)

- He’s a soft baby towards the people he cares about he’s just bad at showing affection

Other notes:

- He has super sensitive hearing and it Sucks Mostly

- Major sensory issues, largely due to said super sensitive hearing. If it gets too noisy / too loud he’s not gonna have a fun time.

- Used to be extremely depressed / hate himself a lot, but he’s gotten better!! He’s gotten so much better.

- He can’t sit still, uh, ever. Constantly fidgets. Gets up and paces just to keep himself occupied. He's so antsy.

- If he doesn’t know you and you’re touching him Please Stop

- Panic attacks whenever Lightning

- HIS FAMILY IS SO IMPORTANT!!! He’s gotten so much better since being adopted by the HB gang, by the Gainsborough house. He’s not perfect, but he’s working to get better, and he’s made leaps and bounds in that direction!!

Music taste: synthpop becomes his absolute favorite! Porter Robinson, CHVRCHES, Madeon, Passion Pit. Porter Robinson is definitely his top fave though, with CHVRCHES as a close second. Loves Bastille’s mixtape albums. A pretty good fan of dubstep type stuff in general, isn’t too annoyed by Sora’s VOCALOID music ((ACTUALLY SOME OF IT’S PRETTY GOOD, HE ADMITS)).

Favorite color: sky blue

Notable Abilities:

While he’s not the strongest person in the universe (considering Roxas was built to top him, and Aqua’s always been miles stronger than him) his physical strength / fighting prowess is still nothing to sneeze at

He used to have insane darkness abilities but then they became fatal to him, so like

Fighting Style / Battle Stats:

Riku’s a glass canon!!!!! He’d be the strongest member in your hypothetical rpg party but his defense is kind of awful and he doesn’t know how to cure so he constantly gets KO’d. He’s also cocky as hell and overestimates his abilities in battle, frequently.

Lots of hack-n-slash. Doesn't really know any magic (except dark firaga, but he can't use that anymore.)

His ridiculous strength makes up for his “rush into everything without a plan” most of the time but, one of these days, kid… one of these days.

History:

- months of abuse / suffering in his home universe in Castle Oblivion, thanks to the Organization in general and Larxene in particular.

- had it Really Bad for kh canon / magik’s Namine

- Got to this universe on what was basically a suicide attempt. Agreed to take the second chance at life / have his memories erased. Not remembering was supposed to make his life easier, but it kind of backfired. He remembers at least 9/10ths of what was erased, now.

- He killed FtPverse’s Vexen aka Even, and there’s little he regrets more, seeing as it caused the Rebellion and everything.

- He lead the Replica Rebellion in Dead Inside, though extremely against his will. While he supported the cause, he absolutely hated being there, and Alpha did not make it any easier on him.

- The final battle of Dead Inside. I won’t say what happened because spoilers, but you bet it affected him. (Admittedly, it appears to have affected him a lot less than it affected Namine and Kairi, but maybe he’s just recovered better.)

- being adopted by Aerith!! Being assured by her he can be loved!! Being welcomed into her home, taking her up on that offer, and now living with her and the rest of the HB gang!! This is less history and more “something happened at the literal start of All that Remains” but listen it is extremely important.
