That Keyblade + chain combo of his. He uses his chains a
lot, and fights one-handed with his Keyblade even when his chains aren’t
summoned, unlike Sora who fights two-handed. This is largely so that his left
hand is always free, since he can
summon his chains on a whim

Appearance notes:
He looks basically exactly like Sora, same face same build
same height same everything except hair/eyecolor/clothes. He’s got paler
(lighter?) skin than Sora, though he’s still Brown. His hair is generally
unruly. His eyes are yellow-gold, like a Heartless, not orange-gold like a
Nort, and that’s a very important distinction.
His hands are rough and calloused, because that's what having chains as your weapon of choice will do to you. Sure, he has gloves, but even if he doesn't have callouses in the palm of his hand, he sure does have them on his fingers.

Personality notes:
- An asshole. Would trip you and then laugh at you.
- Pretty
conceited, thinks he’s hot stuff, laughs at his own jokes.
- Short temper. Gets pissed at the drop of a hat, wants to
strangle anyone who prevents him from getting his way.
- Takes enjoyment from watching other people suffer.
Other notes:
- He's Sora’s Shadow, or Sheto, a creature made specifically to drag Sora into darkness. Well, that’s what he
claims.
- Can hear Sora’s thoughts / feel Sora’s emotions at any given
moment, along with communicate telepathically with Sora (Sora can do the same,
but, like, doesn’t really know he can so he doesn’t)
- Has something of a crush on Kairi.
- Has a habit of drumming his fingers on things, especially
when nervous

Notable Abilities:
Extremely versed in, uh “dark magic”? What do you call it in
KH. Is it just being able to use and manipulate darkness. Well. He’s good at
that.
Can sense emotions / read hearts of people who aren’t Sora.
He doesn’t have constant access to this sort of thing, though, he really has to
dig, and often can only access thoughts touched with darkness
Can also manipulate hearts and make people
think/believe/feel things, at least to a minor extent. I’ve described it as
“tugging at heart strings” which is most like tugging at their
fear/anger/whatever and making it spike up for a few moments. People more
skilled at this can keep their illusions going for a long time, but Shad’s generally only last a few minutes
Can control his chains telekinetically.
Can teleport. He does not use dark corridors to get around,
he literally teleports.
Fighting Style / Battle Stats:

He can manipulate darkness and use magic, though he usually
sticks to dark variants of spells (dark blizzaga vs regular blizzaga). Not that
he can’t manage the regular variants, it’s just habit to use the
dark variants
In RPG terms, he’s, I dunno, a regular fighter? Sora’s a
well-rounded jack of all trades, and Shad’s a little similar, though he fights
with more magic than Sora does and is better at long-ranged stuff, thanks to
his chains.
History:
Well, there’s not much that isn’t recorded in Dead Inside, but here’s some notable,
non-spoilery events, at least from Part 1 anyway. We don’t want spoilers on his
page.
- has attempted to drag Sora into darkness multiple times
now
- has an ongoing friendship with Kairi, sort of
- snooped in on Namine and Riku that one time?
- Tried to kill Cloud, got his butt handed him to by Tifa.
He really hates her for it.
- has manipulated Sora a few times to make Sora say really
mean things to his friends
- for the most part, his life has completely revolved around
Sora / fighting Sora. For the most part.
